Instructions for Printing from an iPhone or iPad

This guide explains how to print documents from an iPhone or iPad using PaperCut Mobility Print.

Before You Begin

  • Your device must be connected to the SMSU network.
  • You will need your StarID and StarID password.
  • Your StarID password must be current and not expired.

Step 1: Download the PaperCut Mobility Print Profile

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to http://10.10.8.125:9163/setup PaperCut Mobility Print Setup Page
  3. Follow the on‑screen instructions to download the PaperCut Mobility Print profile.

Step 2: Allow the Profile Download

  1. When prompted, select Allow to download the configuration profile.

Step 3: Open Profile Settings

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Select Profile Downloaded near the top of the Settings menu.

Step 4: Install the PaperCut Mobility Print Profile

  1. Select the profile labeled PaperCut Mobility.
  2. Select Install.
  3. Enter your device passcode or password when prompted to complete the installation.

Step 5: Select a Document to Print

  1. Open the document, image, or file you want to print.
  2. Choose Print from the app’s share or options menu.
  3. When prompted, select the printer you want to use.

Step 6: Choose a Printer

  1. From the list of available printers, select the appropriate SMSU printer.

Step 7: Sign In to Print

When prompted, enter your credentials using the following format:

  • Username: SMSU\YourStarID
  • Password: Your StarID password

Step 8: Confirm Printing

After signing in successfully, your document should print.

If you are unable to print:

  • Confirm you are connected to the SMSU Wi‑Fi.
  • Verify your StarID password is correct and up to date.
  • Try restarting the app or reconnecting to Wi‑Fi.
