Instructions for Printing from an Android Device

This guide explains how to print documents from your Android device using the Mobility Print app.

Before You Begin

  • Your Android device must be connected to the SMSU network.
  • You will need your StarID and StarID password to sign in.

Step 1: Download the Mobility Print App

  1. Open a web browser on your Android device.
  2. Go to the Mobility Print app
    [http://10.10.8.126:9163/setup]
  3. Follow the on‑screen instructions to download and install the Mobility Print app.

Step 2: Open Mobility Print

  1. After installation is complete, open the Mobility Print app on your device.

Step 3: Enable Mobility Printing

  1. Follow the prompts in the app to confirm that Mobility Printing is enabled.
  2. Make sure the following options are turned ON:
    • Mobility Print
    • Default Print Service

Step 4: Print a Document

  1. Open the document, image, or file you want to print.
  2. Choose Print from the app or system menu.
  3. When prompted to sign in, enter your credentials using the format below:
    • Username: SMSU\YourStarID
    • Password: Your StarID password

Your document will then be sent to the selected printer.
