Remember to save your files to
OneDrive

email
them to yourself and
log off
. Files saved directly on these computers will be deleted.
In the Search box of your computer, type in
Remote Desktop Connection
and open it. Click on
Show Options
when it opens.
Click the
Advanced tab
.
Click on
Settings
.
Select
Use these RD Gateway server settings
. Type
labconnect.smsu.edu:8443
in the Server name box. Change the
logon method
to
Ask for password
and uncheck the
Bypass RD Gateway server for local addresses
box. Then click
OK
Go back to the
General
tab.
Click or type the link below in a browser to see the different mac computers available
https://remoteaccess.labstats.com/Southwest-Minnesota-State-University
.
Copy the name of the Mac computer you would like to connect to.
Go back to the
General
tab and paste in the Mac computer name that you want to connect to, then click the
Connect
button.
Type in
smsu.edu\YourStarID
(i.e., smsu.edu\ab1234cd) and then type in your password and click
OK
.
Click “
Yes
” if you are prompted with a security warning.
Enter your StarID and password again and click the arrow
You should then be logged into the Mac workstation.
