Overview

Welcome to the TeamDynamix User Guide for Clients! This guide is designed to help you navigate the platform and efficiently manage your service requests and tickets. TeamDynamix provides a user-friendly interface to ensure your needs are met promptly and effectively.

What is TeamDynamix?

TeamDynamix is a comprehensive platform that integrates project management, IT service management (ITSM), and enterprise service management (ESM). It is designed to support organizations in managing their projects, services, and resources efficiently. As a client, you can easily submit service requests, track their progress, and communicate with service providers.

Accessing TeamDynamix

  • Web Access: You can access TeamDynamix using your web browser by visiting this link: https://services.smsu.edu/TDClient/180/Portal/Home/
  • Sign In: For the best experience, please sign in to the client portal.
  • Click on Sign In at the top right side of the page.

Key Features

Knowledge Base: Access internal, user-facing, or public knowledge articles that are often used for self-help.

Services: Review services offered and make a request for work to be completed, such as a new project request or a password reset service.

Search: Utilize the powerful search capabilities in TeamDynamix. Simply begin typing in the “Search the client portal” field located at the top of the Client Portal to search for services offered and Knowledge Base articles.

How to Create a Ticket: Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Login to the Client Portal: https://services.smsu.edu/TDClient/180/Portal/Home/

For Employees:

Log in with your StarID@minnstate.edu and StarID password

Example: ab1234cd@minnstate.edu

For Students:

Log in with your StarID@go.minnstate.edu and StarID password

Example: ab1234cd@go.minnstate.edu

  1. Search for Required Service: Use the search function to find the required service or go to Services and then Service Catalog. Next, select the Category and/or Service that matches your needs.

Complete the Ticket Request Form: Fill out the form and click on the Submit button.

  1. Track Your Ticket: Once a ticket has been submitted, you can track its progress. The requestor (and ticket creator, if different) can see the ticket via the Client Portal if they have access to the “Services” and “Ticket Requests” applications:
  • Log in to the Client Portal.
  • Go to Services.
  • Go to Ticket Requests.

View Your Tickets in TeamDynamix

TeamDynamix lets you check the status of your tickets at any time. To do so:

  1. Login to the Client Portal: https://services.smsu.edu/TDClient/180/Portal/Home/

For Employees:

Log in with your StarID@minnstate.edu and StarID password

Example: ab1234cd@minnstate.edu

For Students:

Log in with your StarID@go.minnstate.edu and StarID password

Example: ab1234cd@go.minnstate.edu

  1. The requestor (and ticket creator, if different) can see the ticket via the Client Portal if they have access to the “Services” and “Ticket Requests” applications:
  • Go to Services.
  • Go to Ticket Requests.
