1. StarID and Password

Your StarID is your unique identifier for accessing various SMSU services. You will use it to log in to systems like E-Services, D2L Brightspace, and your university email.

2. Network Access

Connect to the campus network to access online resources and services. Ensure your device is configured correctly to join the network.

3. University Email

Your university email is essential for communication with colleagues, students, and administrative staff. Access it using your StarID credentials.

4. Network Storage

Store and access files securely on the university's network storage. Ensure you follow SMSU's guidelines for data management and security.

5. Zoom Phone System

SMSU's phone system allows you to make and receive calls, manage voicemail, and access other telecommunication features.

6. Teaching with Technology

7. Web Conferencing

Use touchless printing on Konica MFP with Secure Print Queue to print documents securely and efficiently.

10. Microsoft Teams Enhancements

SMSU has enhanced the process for creating Teams in Office 365. This improvement streamlines team creation and management, making it easier for faculty and staff to collaborate effectively.

How to Create a Ticket for Technical Support

If you encounter any technical issues, you can create a support ticket through the TeamDynamix client portal.

  1. Login to the Client Portal: Log in with your StarID@minnstate.edu and StarID password.
  2. Search for Required Service: Use the search function to find the required service or go to Services and then Service Catalog.
  3. Complete the Ticket Request Form: Fill out the form with the necessary details and click Submit.
  4. Track Your Ticket: Once submitted, you can track the progress of your ticket through the Client Portal.
