Active Learning Checkout (ALC) Laptop Request

Overview

The Active Learning Checkout (ALC) Laptop Request service allows faculty and staff to request Active Learning Checkout (ALC) bags for short‑term laptop use.

ALC bags are designed to support temporary technology needs such as meetings, exams, classroom activities, and other short‑term instructional or operational purposes.

Each ALC bag contains five laptops. A maximum of two bags (10 laptops total) may be checked out at one time.

Who Can Request This Service

  • Faculty and staff may submit requests directly.
  • Supervising employees may request an ALC bag on behalf of students who need temporary access to laptops.

When to Use This Service

Use this service if you need:

  • Short‑term access to multiple laptops
  • Laptops for a meeting, exam, or classroom activity
  • Temporary laptop access for students who do not have their own devices
