Overview 

The Website Content Accessibility Review service allows departments to submit PDF website content for an accessibility audit and remediation process. 

This service helps ensure that SMSU web content is accessible, inclusive, and compliant with accessibility standards

When to Use This Service 

Use this service if you need to: 

  • Ensure that PDF document you have on your department webpage is accessible 
  • Ensure that PDF document you want to publish on your department webpage is accessible 
  • Request remediation or guidance to improve accessibility 

This service supports both new content and existing webpages. 

What This Service Includes 

When you submit website content for review, the accessibility team may assist with: 

  • Evaluating content against WCAG accessibility standards 
  • Identifying issues related to screen readers, keyboard navigation, color contrast, and structure 
  • Reviewing headings, links, and alternative text for images 
  • Providing remediation recommendations or making approved updates 

What to Include in Your Request 

To help ensure an effective review, please include:
