The Request Phone Services service allows users to request changes or updates to their phone setup using the SMSU Zoom Phone System.
Use this service to request new or updated phone services that support your communication needs at SMSU.
When to Use This Service
Use this service if you need to request any of the following:
- A new desk phone
- A softphone application for a computer or mobile device
- A new phone number or extension
- Voicemail setup or changes, including greetings or access issues
This service supports both on‑campus and remote work needs.
What This Service Includes
When you submit a request, the support team may assist with:
- Issuing and configuring physical desk phones
- Setting up Zoom Phone on computers or mobile devices
- Assigning or updating phone numbers and extensions
- Setting up or updating voicemail and voicemail settings
- Ensuring phone services function correctly with existing systems
