Mustang V‑Labs: Remote Computer Lab Access
Mustang V-Labs allows students to remotely access on‑campus computer labs from their personal devices. This service provides access to specialized academic software, such as SPSS, Maple, and Minitab, without needing to be physically on campus.
Students connect to a Windows or macOS lab computer and use applications as if they were sitting in the lab.
Important Login Information
Use the following credentials when signing in to Mustang V‑Labs:
- Username: campus\YourStarID
- Example: smsu.edu\ab1234cd
- Password: Your StarID password
File Saving and Log‑Off Reminder
To avoid losing your work:
- Save files to OneDrive or email them to yourself
- Log off when you are finished
Important: Files saved directly on the virtual lab computers are deleted automatically after you log off.
