Overview

Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU) offers a Voice over Zoom phone system, allowing calls to be transported over Internet lines. This system supports various types of telephones, including physical handsets, softphones, video phones, conference phones, and cell phones.

Dialing Tips

  • On-Campus Calls: Dial the 6-digit extension (75-XXXX).
  • Local Calls: Dial area code + 7-digit phone number.
  • Long Distance Calls: Dial area code + 7-digit phone number.
  • Emergency Calls: Dial 911.

Using the Desktop Application

To check the settings of your Zoom phone using the desktop application, follow the provided instructions.
